We drive along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country´s most scenic regions, as far as Vík village, surrounded with high birdcliffs and a view to Reynisdrangar cliffs off the sout shore coastline. Along the way we stop at the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which is you can walk behind and through to the other side. We also stop at Skógafoss waterfall whch is 60 m. high and at the footsteps of the famous trekking route Fimmvörðuháls. We make a stop at one of our most popular folk museum Skógar which will give you a brief idea how the people lived in Iceland through the centuries. At Skógar is a family runned cafe with traditional sweets, cakes etc. Enroute to Vík we will make ca. 2 hours glacier walk on Sólheimajökull glacier, visit Dyrhólaey Island and the woolen factoy outlet “Víkurprjón” at the village Vík before returning to Reykjavik. Highlight is the walk on the Black beach (black sand beach) and view the rock formation Reynisdrangar and the high sneaky vawes.
